Supported Features

Design intent of the tool is to mimic Microsoft Hyper-V Manager tool as much as possible and bring the functionality to Operating System earlier to Vista. The initial release will not have certain capabilities. It is anticipated that these are strictly Administrative functions that daily users of the tool will not need. These features will be added as part of ongoing development activities

These are currently supported:

• Ability to monitor multiple Hyper-V servers
• Ability to monitor all virtual machines
• Ability to change state - start, stop, etc of VMs
• Ability to delete, rename VMs
• Ability to create, delete & apply snapshots
• Ability to RDP to VMs
• Ability to Import/Export VMs
• Audit user activity
• Display virtual machines in List or Tree Views
• Control user rights to high degree of granularity

Planned Features (currently not supported)

• Create new virtual machine
• Network Manager
• Settings Manager for VMs
